ANEMONE
A.nemorosa - Plant quite shallow only 5cm in a fairly well drained soil, in partial or full shade, it does not matter which way the rhizome is planted, as the flower stems will shoot from many different angles. Quite quickly a mass of rhizomes will be produced, these if required can easily be lifted with a fork & replanted. After flowering, the rhizomes can be snapped into suitable lengths. 
A.blanda - Plant 5cm deep, again in partial shade & well drained soil, another great 
naturaliser.
