Melagris is particularly suitable for lawn and meadow areas, whilst Michailovskyii is ideal for a rockery area. The bulbs flower from April and please note that as these are lifted whilst in growth, it is normal for the bulb to lose its outer shell, a new one is formed once the leaves begin to die back.
